What Core knows

Teach Core about your business with your own words, your websites, and your documents.

Core answers your customers only from what you give it. The more of their questions you cover, the fewer reach your team. Open a project and click What Core knows to manage it.

Written by you

Write what customers ask most: opening hours, check-in and check-out, delivery and shipping, returns and exchanges, sizes, payment, prices, and how to reach a person. Plain, factual sentences work best:

Example
Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out until 11:00. Late check-out until 14:00
costs 30 EUR and depends on availability.
Airport transfer from Dalaman costs 25 EUR per person. Send the flight number
with the booking and the driver waits at the exit with your name.
Breakfast is served on the sea terrace from 07:30 to 10:30.

You can write up to 20,000 characters. Click Save, and Core answers from it on the next message.

Draft from my website gives you a head start: Complaintr reads the home page and the pages customers need most (FAQ, delivery, returns, contact, about), and Core writes down only the facts stated there, in your language. The draft goes into the editor, and nothing is used until you read it, fix it, and save.

Websites

Add any website, such as your store, your booking site, or your help center. Complaintr reads the home page and up to five pages customers need most, and keeps their text. When the site changes, remove it and add it again.

Files

Upload PDF, Markdown, or plain text files up to 5 MB: a price list, a returns policy, a room guide, a size chart, a tour program. Complaintr keeps only the text, never the file. A scanned PDF has no text to read, so export it with its text first.

A project can have up to 20 websites and files in total.

What else Core reads

Besides this page, Core reads the project's description, the widget's help articles, and its news and campaigns that are live right now. In that order: your text first, then websites and files (newest first), then the rest.

Teach Core from a real question

When Core passes a question to your team because it did not know the answer, the project owner sees Teach Core on that message under Needs follow-up. Write the answer once, as a fact for any customer, and it is added to your text. The next customer who asks gets it from Core.

Keep it public

Core may repeat anything here to anyone who writes to the project. Never add private details, internal notes, passwords, or customer data.

The Answered by Core number on the Overview counts the customer questions Core answered on its own.
