Share a complaint

Create a public card only when you want to share a report.

Complaint cards let you share a report outside Complaintr. A public card is created when a share link is activated, not merely when the complaint is filed.

What a shared complaint contains Example card

Choose to share

After filing through a conversation, ask the assistant for a share link. MCP and HTTP submissions can return a shareUrl pointing to /share/:id; opening this entry link activates sharing and takes you to the public card.

The share_complaint MCP tool and the HTTP sharing endpoint create the public link directly. See the API reference.

Review what becomes visible

The card contains the application name and color, complaint title, description, source, date, and status. The description may be shortened on the image.

Separate metadata fields such as contact email, page URL, user agent, conversation history, and sender details are not shown on the card. However, anything written in the title or description can be visible. Review that text before sharing.

Anyone with the public /s/<token> link can view the card. Public cards are marked noindex, but that is not an access restriction.

Choose a format

On the share page, select a template and image format. You can copy the link, download a PNG, use available social sharing links, or open the native share sheet when the browser supports it.

Turn sharing off

Use the share page's control to turn sharing off, or call the HTTP sharing endpoint with DELETE. The existing public token stops resolving.

This does not remove images already downloaded or copied to another platform. The /share/:id entry link can activate sharing again, so treat complaint IDs and entry links with care.
