Reduce churn

Turn complaints into customers you keep.

Churn rarely announces itself. Most unhappy customers leave without telling you why, and the few who do speak up are the only warning you get. This page shows how to use Complaintr to act on that warning before the customer is gone.

Why complaints predict churn

A customer who reports a problem is still engaged. They took the time to tell you what went wrong, which means they are willing to stay if it gets fixed. The customers who never say anything are the ones that quietly disappear.

Treat incoming complaints as early churn signals, not paperwork. A blocked checkout, a failed search, or a confusing flow surfaces here long before it shows up as a cancellation.

Close the loop

  1. Catch the report. Connect the channels your users already rely on so feedback reaches one inbox instead of scattered messages. See Integrations.
  2. Prioritize what drives churn. Use automatic category and severity to pull the reports that stop people from finishing a task to the top. See Manage complaints.
  3. Fix and confirm. Resolve each complaint when the underlying problem is gone, and reopen it if the problem returns.
  4. Answer the reporter. When a channel supports a reply, close the loop with the person who reported the issue. A confirmed fix is what turns a complaint into retention.

Make the inbox a habit

  • Watch the Open tab so nothing ages past the point where a fix still helps.
  • Use the assistant to summarize open complaints and spot patterns across applications.
  • Turn on alerts so a new complaint reaches you right away. See Telegram setup.

What Complaintr does not do

Resolving a complaint records your decision in Complaintr. It does not deploy a fix or message the reporter for you. The work between "resolved" and "retained" is still yours; Complaintr makes sure the signal reaches you in time.
