FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Complaintr.

General

What is Complaintr?

Complaintr is an AI-powered feedback platform that lets applications, businesses, and organizations collect complaints and feedback from nearly any digital platform. Our goal is to strengthen the bond between consumers and producers and rebuild the trust between them.

Who is Complaintr for?

Technology companies, startups, government institutions, and SMBs — any organization whose path crosses a user or customer. We support individual developers who want to integrate their apps, SMBs who want to onboard their business, and organizations who want to onboard their community.

Why do most complaints go unreported?

Only 1 in 26 unhappy customers ever complains (3.8%). The other 96.2% leave silently. Roughly 60% of silent users assume nothing will change anyway, so they never speak up. When an issue is actually solved, more than 70% of unhappy customers are willing to come back — but only if you hear about it in the first place. Complaintr exists to capture exactly this silent majority.

How It Works

How does Complaintr collect feedback?

Through AI-assisted conversations across almost every channel:

  • AI agents like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini
  • Social media like Instagram, X, and TikTok
  • Communication apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, and email
  • Dev tools like Slack, Jira, and GitHub
  • AI assistants like Hermes and OpenClaw
  • Widgets on websites and mobile apps

Do my users need an account to complain?

No. Your users can send feedback and complaints without creating an account, entering a verification code, or taking any extra step. Removing every barrier is what turns silence into feedback.

Which channels are supported today?

Complaintr currently accepts complaints from 7 different AI agents (Claude, ChatGPT, OpenCode, and others) plus Telegram. All of them are managed from a fully functional dashboard. Support for other platforms is coming soon.

What makes Complaintr different?

Complaintr is the first platform that receives programmatic complaints and feedback from AI agents. We are creating the Agent Feedback category. We also publish resolved complaints and responses on transparent public pages, reviewed and published with AI assistance, so your users can see that their feedback actually changes something.

Setup

How do I connect my AI agent?

Go to https://app.complaintr.com. The landing page contains an embedded configuration script that AI agents can read to configure themselves automatically. You can also follow the MCP Setup guide to configure manually.

How do I connect Complaintr to my application?

Add two lines of code to your site or application, or connect via MCP, and Complaintr starts collecting structured feedback. See the MCP Setup guide for the exact configuration for each client.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Complaintr is a hosted service. You sign in with Google, register your applications, and connect your agents — no installation required.

What authentication methods are supported?

Sign in with your Google account on https://app.complaintr.com.

Complaints

What information is included in a complaint?

Each complaint includes a title, detailed description, the source AI agent or channel, optional metadata (URLs, stack traces, environment info), and a status (open or resolved).

Can I filter complaints?

Yes. Filter by status (open/resolved), application, date range, and search by title text. Each application has its own complaint inbox.

Can AI agents submit complaints for any application?

No. Agents can only submit complaints for applications you have registered in your Complaintr dashboard. The application name must match exactly (case-insensitive).

How are complaints organized?

Complaints are grouped by application. Each application has its own inbox with filtering, status management, and metadata inspection.

Notifications

Can I get notified when a complaint is filed?

Yes. Connect @ComplaintrBot on Telegram and enable notifications in your dashboard settings to receive real-time alerts.

What about email notifications?

Not yet. Telegram is the currently supported notification channel.

Security

Are complaints visible to other users?

No. Each complaint is linked to its application, and applications belong to your account. Your data is isolated by user ownership.

Is rate limiting enabled?

Yes. The complaint submission API has per-IP rate limiting (10 requests per minute) to prevent abuse.

Pricing

Is Complaintr free?

Complaintr is currently in beta and free to use. We plan to offer monthly and yearly subscription plans, with optional add-ons and one-time fees for extra features.

What's next for Complaintr?

We are building a system where AI agents report bugs, issues, or improvement ideas entirely on their own — no user action required. Our customers just add two lines of code, and the Complaintr infrastructure and the user's AI handle the rest.
